POUR LA RELACHE, AMENEZ LA FÊTE FORAINE CHEZ VOUS!

Out of inspiration to entertain the youngest this year during spring break? Don’t panic, we thought of you! In order to take full advantage of this week off, we have compiled a list of 5 activities to brighten up your days. Let yourself be inspired by our easy-to-execute activity ideas and bring the carnival to your home!

1. BRINGS OUT YOUR ARTISTIC SIDE

Get out the scissors, hot glue and pens: it’s craft time! And we are not talking about the simple cutting of colored cardboard, no no. Here is a tutorial to make a great Chamboule tout.

DIY your Chamboule-tout: tin cans, a few sheets of card stock, a little glue, two or three pens and you’re done.

2. EXPLORE YOUR CULINARY SKILLS

What is more delicious than the sweets offered at the funfair? We invite you today to get your hands dirty with your little ones and taste some beautiful taffy apples together. Beautiful memories and lots of fun to share!

3. HAVE FUN OUTDOORS, DIFFERENTLY

The temperature isn’t always right during spring break, but that’s no reason to snuggle up all week! If the weather permits, why not take the opportunity to take up challenges and compete outside?

Using coloring, draw circles and squares in the snow. Invite your children to reach them with snowballs. For a variation, you can also offer them to throw snowballs as high as possible on a tree trunk.

4. TRAVELING THROUGH BOOKS AND GAMES

Sharing a story or a moment of play with your parents often remains as one of the most beautiful memories of childhood. We have concocted a selection of games and books for you that will transport you directly to the fairground!

5. ORGANIZE A CINEMA DAY AT HOME

Take advantage of the last day of the break to relax thoroughly, before resuming your routine. What could be better than watching a movie with the family while keeping the comfort of your living room? To create a “like in the cinema” atmosphere, here are our tips:

  • • Create or print entry tickets, the little ones will love the game.
  • • Prepare butter or caramel popcorn for the bravest.
  • • Set up a comfortable place with blankets, cushions and dim lights.
  • • Pick a movie everyone will enjoy. To be transported to the world of fairgrounds, rides and gluttony, we recommend: Le Parc des Merveilles, Dumbo in its revisited version or Toy Story 4.

6. MAKEUP AND COSTUMES, THE RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS

Who said dressing up was just for Halloween? Get out the brushes, make-up, the most improbable accessories and the most beautiful costumes and let your creativity speak!

We prefer to warn you, it is very likely that some dads will find themselves disguised as a unicorn or a snow queen…
